Mamak Don is delicious! Really easy, no fuss restaurant (in a good way) with friendly and attentive staff who didn’t rush us. Great selection of authentic dishes, some of the best Malaysian food I have had in London. Decent price, especially for Camden. We went on a Monday and didn’t have to book but it did look quite busy later on in the evening. Would recommend.

I love this place. Looks like it might be small from the front but it actually goes a long way to the back with some booths and large tables available as well. The vibe is very casual and nothing fancy at all. Wrinkly menus etc. But the service is fantastic - everyone is so friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. I am now happy to be recommended anything from the menu now if I can't decide for myself and trust it will be great.

Very nice food, we shared a beef curry, some pad Thai chicken with a side of water spinach with prawn paste (the side was a bit too fishy for our taste), and we shared some baos (filled with mackerels... a bit disappointed but still tasty) and some fried chicken as starter. For dessert I had the roti tisu which is quite impressive but not over filling like i feared, it is just inconvenient to eat . My friend had the banana fritters. Really good food and agreable service. I highly recommend.

Singapore curry noodle and the crispy fried shrimps are really good! Beef ho fun is not spicy as suggested on the menu but is similar to what I used to have in Canton. The milk tea is quite similar to Hong Kong milk tea although a bit too sweet. The only thing we don’t quite like is the lamb curry (not in the pictures; the portion is a bit small and tastes strange). Fair price and nice environment! Service is quick. Would come back again!

I had the chicken roti canai. It was one flaky roti with curry chicken in sauce. Tasted excellent. It may not have been a big portion but it was just right for me and really enjoyed my cold milo to wash it down.

Love this place - I’m Singaporean and it’s one of the few places I can go in all of Europe to have a taste of home. Roti is good, Ayam goreng also great, and my favourite is always the assam laksa which is exactly the flavour bomb it should be and never disappoints!

Great Malaysian dining experience. Good sized portion. They cured my asam laksa fix. The beef noodles were generous. Roti canai set was delicious too. Very nice environment and friendly service.

Service: Top notch by all staff, very accommodating Interior: Toilets and restaurant was clean. Rustic vibe Food: very pleasantly surprised. Some of the items didnt look amazing but they more than made up in flavour. Best Malaysian food I’ve tried and will definitely be returning with others. Everything Halal Glad we asked for extra spicy, made the difference. Tried all 7 dishes in the video and all amazingly authentic. 9/10. Cons: menus were really old and folded. Surely not too hard to print new ones.
